- Memorial dedicated to the Hungarian Poet, Mihály Vörösmarty (2000-’01). The memorial column is a combination of basalt and stainless steel, is 3.6 ms high and is situated on the corner of Kossuth Lajos street and Pozsonyi street in the village of Baracska.

Vörösmarty wrote one of his major poems, „Előszó” (Epilogue) and seven other epigrammes in 1850-’51 in Baracska, where he withdrew after the defeat of the 1848 civil uprising and war of independence. His exile and his poems were overshadowed by the misery and the pain of the defeat and the casualties of war. The statue was built to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Vörösmarty’s birth and makes an effort to translate the contextual and formal structure of the poem into the language of plastic art.
