About the company SHB Stúdió is a limited liability company, owned by four private persons. Mr. Béla S. Hegyi, sculptor and restorer owns 80% of the company and is the managing director of the firm. The company has been operating since 1994 and its primary activities are based on the professional expertise of Mr. S. Hegyi (see also references). The activities include such tasks of technical, design and architectural nature where the incorporation of artistic elements are of paramount importance. In the period of the past ten years the company has performed various high profile restauration, reconstruction, and design tasks. Within these projects state-of-the-art technology and classical artisan methods have been used, often in pioneering combination to achive unique solutions. Our clients have been mainly public institutions, foundations, and large construction companies but we have also received orders from planning and engineering offices as well as from private individuals. Our staff is small but highly qualified and includes artists, engineers, and skilled craftsmen. In case of larger projects the firm invites reliable and stable subcontractors to perform the job.
